Community Conversation Cards
These cards were sourced from the community as a way to make time and space to share a meaningful conversation with someone new. Feel free to submit your own question here!
Decide who will share their screen and draw questions. Determine an order of speaking. We recommend beginning with the person who has done Hello Neighbor the most times and then continuing in order of whomever is closest to their hometown.
First person starts with an introduction. Intros could include family, hometown, hobbies, what sparks joy, etc. Continue introductions in the order your group decided.
Once introductions are done, draw a question card by clicking on the + button. The first person who introduced themself should answer. Follow-up questions from participants are strongly encouraged.
After the first person finishes, draw a new question card. The next person should answer it, continuing in the order of introductions. If you don’t like the question, you can draw another or answer a question previously drawn.
Keep drawing cards and answering questions until the time is up. The questions are meant to spark conversation. If something piques the group’s interest, feel free to spend as long as you want on the topic. Enjoy the conversation!
